This is a Nagy upright spining wheel. I believe they are made from Kauri.

This was my mum's and it hasn't had a lot of use. It really needs a new home, and someone to enjoy it.

Made in 1974 by I. Nagy, Wellington. Was purchased new around the same time by my mum. I think there's a number on it somewhere (I'll have another look), as well as the metal plate showing who made it and when.

Feel free to ask questions, but I probably don't have a lot of answers. I've tried to take plenty of photos to show what it's like. It seems to be in reasonably good condition, and it really didn't have a lot of use. There appear to be some marks, like water marks, on the wood. And you'll be able to see those in the photos.

I would prefer someone to pick up, but I could possibly package it up and send if need be. However, it will be quite a bulky and large package and possibly costly.
