A stunning, natural-edge Rata slab, milled in New Plymouth under MPI approval and air-dried for over 10 years. The cut reveals rich red and purple tones—solid, rare, and perfect for fine woodworking or statement furniture.

Recovered from a remote dead Rata forest near Mt Taranaki (2012–2013). Our bushmen spent over six months in the forest extracting these rare timbers—a true piece of New Zealand history, ready to be crafted into your next masterpiece.
