This auction is for a mixed lot of low-grade or short pieces of Ancient Swamp Kauri timber, kiln-dried for stability. Although these are not first-grade pieces, they still hold great value for craft, carving, hobby projects, or small gift making.

Each piece of this timber comes from the original kauri forests buried for over 45,000 years, recovered through years of careful work — unearthed, transported, sawn, and kiln-dried. We hope each piece will be used with respect and purpose — none of this ancient timber should go to waste.

• Dimensions: Mostly 100 × 25 mm, with some 150 × 25 mm pieces
• Lengths: Up to 1.6 m
• Total Length: ~20 linear metres+
• Drying: Air-dried for over 10 years, then kiln-dried
• Finish: Rough-sawn, ready for custom finishing
