I bought this as a guide scope to eventually use it with my Televue APO scope for astro photography, however I have decided not to go down that path and just stay a visual observer. [I decided A/P just gets too expensive and technical .] Brand new and never used only opened to photograph. [I briefly tried it as a spotting scope but could not get full focus. I presume it is a more dedicate guide scope].
