As I’m downsizing my house, I’ve been told to downsize my personal HIFI system. As such, my prized Linn Akurate Exakt aktiv system is now looking for a new owner. The system comprises a Linn Akurate Exakt DSM (aka Akurate Systemhub), connected via Exakt link to a Katalyst DAC-enabled Linn Akurate Exaktbox-I. Eight amplifier channels are then wired to a pair of Linn Majik Isobarik speakers via 4 x 4m of Linn K400 cable. All items are in as-new condition, and I’ve been the only careful owner. All come complete with original packaging.
Originally priced at over $34k, this system is for sale at just $16,995

I have nearly the same system. However, I’d be interested in the speakers (I have standard 140’s) if you find yourself wanting or needing to split the system. I find the 140 a bit bass light in my house even using Space Optimisation. The isobariks were discontinued unfortunately when I bought my system. p*********1 (184 • 12:30 pm, Fri, 28 MarHi Packleader1. Thanks for your enquiry. Although I’d ideally like to sell the system as a whole, I am perfectly OK in selling just the Majik ISO’s (especially to someone who knows what they are can appreciate what they do). The ISO’s definitely have a fuller bass than the 140s (as I have a demo pair here). As I’m sure you already know, there is a Space Optimisation filter for Majik ISOs. I’d love to see what Organik sounds like but the upgrade isn’t offered yet and will probably be eye watering when it is!
