The PLL (Phase Lock Loop) MPX circuitry assures complete stability with better than 45 dB separation and less than 0.2% stereo (less than 0.15% monaural) harmonic distortion. The FM-IF section of the AT-2600 uses efficient solid state IC circuitry that provides additional stability, while a built-in quadrature detector assures excellent linearity and minimal distortion over an exceptionally wide bandwidth

By pressing the FM Mute switch, a muted effect is given that can be varied with its own level control. A built-in AFC compensates for any frequency shift and assures optimum reception. And a unique High Blend switch blends the high-frequency range in order to recover the S/N ratio with weak signals and, therefore, greatly improve the quality of reception.

The AT-2600 features an accurate level meter for signal strength that makes precise tuning easier. With depression of the Deviation switch, it also serves as a quick check to measure the carrier modulation. A tuning meter is also provided as your guarantee that FM tuning is always right on dead-centre.

Another convenient feature of the AT-2600 is its built-in AM ferrite bar antenna. In addition, multiple antenna connections, including distant and local FM antenna terminals, enable connection of the proper type of antenna for any location.
