Description

In good condition with original box etc as per pics.

This is the DIN4 - DIN5 version

Note tape on plastic sleeve at one end, due to rings separating - a common issue on Naim HiLines. No effect at all on performance.

  • Kia ora e hoa, Naim will repair this free of charge if you return it to them via your dealer - the decoupling rings make a significant difference to the sound quality of the cable and they can be fragile if mishandled (although I had years of success with my two). Nga mihi 0*****b (1562) • 10:35 am, Sun, 4 May Yes am aware of possible repair but I never bothered - buyer may chose to if they wish. I guess there could possibly be sound quality impact if the bare cables were left hanging with tight bends, but with tape keeping the plastic rings together the cable support works just the same and no sound quality impact at all. • Is this the 4 to 5 required for superline to preamp? I presume so. m*****y (217) • 12:25 pm, Sun, 4 May Yes. I think it has some other uses too, but that’s what I used it for. budbud (207) • Sunday, 4 May 2025
  • Actually I don’t want to lead you astray. I used it to take signal from a Hicap (and later a Supercap) - which were powering my Superline - into a 282 (and later a 552) pre-amp. But I also note from on-line search that the Hi-Line 4 to 5 pin DIN interconnect cable is also designed to connect a Superline to a Naim preamplifier. But I can’t be sure - the Naim interconnect stuff can get very confusing, so please double check that 4-5DIN is suited for your specific intended set-up. Seller comment Sunday, 4 May 2025
