This receiver is almost NEW, bought June 2024, has only been used for a few days then I put it back in the box 13 months ago, June 2024. I bought this receiver for the 360 sound however I could not get the 360 to work using the auto room correction setup. It may have been the size or shape of the room, I had to extend the cable from the receiver to the microphone because the receiver is in another room a long way to our seating position.
I was going to keep this receiver for when we shift to another house, leave the Sony and take my Yamaha receiver with me. I have now decided to sell.

Where did you buy it from and do you have the receipt for warranty purposes? I contacted Sony regarding the microphone setup, I told them I had cut the cable and extended it but because I had done that they were not prepared to do anything about my problem of getting the 360 sound to work , the microphone was not working somehow so the receiver kept starting to setup then kept stopping. I connected my Yamaha microphone up and it did do the calibration but did not sound right. nanapam9 (20 • Friday, 8 August 2025Oh no, so the specific Sony calibration mic doesn't work? I think in hindsight the problem for me may have been the front center speaker, I noticed it was not working beginning of August so I bought a new one 04/08/24 from Paul Money WI Fi Auckland. I did not try the Sony again. The auto calibration started but would always stop with a fault with the same fault number every time so it was most likely the speaker.
