No scratches, dings or marks. I've included a photo of the base, to show how clean it is. Just like new. To maximise the sound, I recommend the tuner be attached to an external FM antenna, with coax cable. I don't have an AM loop antenna, or FM antenna adaptor, as I have never used them.
For best music production and accurate station location, the tuner should be attached to an external FM antenna.
However, if you are in a strong FM signal area, you may manage with an internal aerial. So, connect this high quality tuner to your FM aerial, then to your amplifier with the supplied RCA cables.
