Excellent condition Audio Research Reference 110 power amplifier. It comes with all the original packaging, manual, paperwork, & IsoTek EVO3 power cable. Two sets of power valves are included; eight SED 6550C Svetlana "Winged C" , & eight Tung-Sol KT120, including a new pair. Two sets of the four input valves are included. The original factory supplied Sovtek, & a set of precision selected Sovtek which I bought from Upscale Audio & which are currently fitted. I replaced the original black handles for silver ones which were supplied by Audio Research (the black ones are included), & a HiFi Tuning Supreme fuse is also fitted.

The REF 110 produces 110 watts when using the 6550 valves & 125 watts when using the KT120 valves. There are 4, 8, & 16 ohm speaker taps & XLR inputs on the rear.

The amp was serviced at the end of last year, & the 6550C valves are currently fitted. These are the winged C made in St. Petersburg factory & sought after-see link. They were all tested at the time & tested strong, & the bias was adjusted for each. The KT120 valves were also tested & two were shown to be mid strength so were replaced with a new pair. If the buyer wanted the KT120 fitted I could arrange for this to be done, & the bias set correctly (at the buyer’s cost).

I’ve owned this amp for approximately 10 years, having bought it from a friend who bought it as a store demo. For about 5 years of my ownership it was in storage & has had only low use before & after the storage period. It is in excellent cosmetic condition & functions perfectly. Loads of power yet very refined with tight bass & excellent control. Only selling as I’m moving to a lower powered Audio Research amp that better suits my speakers.
