Wonderful Quad 405-2 power amplifier and matching Quad 44 preamplifier. A classic pairing from one of the most respected British hifi brands. The 405-2 has had all new capacitors installed throughout both channels and all new output transistors too. The 44 preamp is in original condition. Paired together, they are an incredibly musical set, which really open up previously unheard parts of your favourite tracks. I haven't used them for a while, due to having a "monster" receiver, so im listing at 1 dollar no reserve to see where the market goes. Id prefer collection as theyre pretty heavy, but I can work with the buyer on that. Cheers!
