Hey there, It currently has a Yamaha CG-8300 cartridge fitted, it’s a genuine Yamaha moving magnet (MM) cartridge, typically paired with higher end Yamaha turntables from the late 1970s - 1980s. So even though the TT-230 usually shipped with a basic Audio Technica type cartridge like the AT81CP or similar P-mount replacement, this one looks to have been upgraded or swapped at some point to the Yamaha CG-8300, which is actually superior in quality.
