Classic Audio 'Spartan 15 MkI' phono stage in as new excellent condition.

Handmade in the UK by Michael Fiddler. Purchased a year ago from UK. Has had light to medium use in smoke free, dry home (includes UK plug adaptor – works perfectly on NZ power/current).

The Spartan 15 is a highly-regarded, handmade moving-magnet (MM) phono stage known for its exceptional quietness, transparent and detailed sound with excellent bass clarity, and an uncoloured, natural presentation. "It really does get out of the way of the music". Reviewers praise its outstanding performance for its price point, often comparing it favourably to much more expensive phono stages. Also notable is the effective cross-feed switch for improving old mono records.

I run my vintage Dual 701 turntable through this phono stage and it sounds great.
