Suitable for Playback Frequency Response adjustment of any Cassette Tape Deck using an AC millivoltmeter

50 Hz, 100 Hz, 400 Hz Reference, 1 kHz, 4 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz recorded on new RTM (former BASF), TDK, MAXELL or TEAC 16u tape

Each Tape is a Full-track Master tape (not a copy). It is recorded OFF SHELL using an OTARI 0.15" (3.81mm) Reel-to-Reel MX-5050BIII-F-P4 Production full-track tape recorder and professional test equipment. The Capstan motor controlled by digital Quartz- Locked PLL, and can work at standard speeds with 0.01% accuracy, and at any speed from 1-7/8 to 30 ips using an external clock generator (Yes I can record a cassette at 30 IPS if you need it)

Reproduction (Playback) Head is a 4-track 4-channel head to measure Level unevenness @ 400 Hz ACROSS the tape before recording. Tapes with difference in Level more than 0.2 dB discarded

Reproduction Equalization calibrated using Constant Magnetic Field Transducer

Standard: IEC (Prague) 1981 Type I Ferro

Time Constant: 3180us + 120us

Recorded 20dB below 200nWb/m @ 400Hz Level

Level fluctuation less than +/-0.2 dB measured. Typically +/-0.1 dB

Frequency fluctuation +/-0.01% measured

Following Test Cassettes included: 50 Hz, 100 Hz, 400 Hz Reference, 1 kHz, 4 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz, 20 kHz

One tone recorded on each tape at the level corresponding to the Equalization curve

Duration of each Tape 10 min recorded at the BEGINNING of the Tape from 00 min 30 sec to 10min 30 sec

You may order custom set with different Speed (15/16", 1-7/8" or 3-3/4"), different Frequencies and Equalization. Just give me your Equalization curve Time Constants (3180us + 70us for Type II CrO2 or Metal, 1590us+120us Old Nakamichil e.t.c).
