IN TRADE GennLab 1 kHz Track Alignment Cassette Version 07A

The Cassette is recorded for the Playback Head Height calibration of Nakamichi cassette decks. Adjust Playback Head Height Gear to obtain the MINIMUM reading of the Output Signal for both channels. Please note. This new Cassette can now be used to adjust all other brands of cassette tape deck equipped with adjustable Tape Guides.

The Tape is recorded on new TDK, MAXELL or TEAC 16u tape OFF SHELL using the OTARI 0.15" (3.81 mm) Reel-to-Reel MX-5050BIII-1-P2/1 Production tape recorder and professional test equipment. This tape recorder, is equipped with the Focused-Field Narrow Track Instrumental Record Heads and has precisely machined Tape Guides. This provides an extremely stable Track position on the tape.

The 1 kHz Track is recorded at the END of tape starting at the last 5 minutes.

The 07A version of the Tape is equivalent to Nakamichi DA09007A Test Tapes. It can be used to calibrate Nakamichi decks equipped with Playback Head with narrow gap between channels: 480, 481, 482Z, 582, 582Z, 600, 600II, 660ZX, 670ZX, 680ZX, 682ZX, 700, 700II, 700ZXE, 700ZXL, 1000II, 1000ZXL, ZX-3, ZX7, ZX9.
