I bought it from the original owner who looked after this in a similar way during his entire ownership. The sound is great and there are no skipping or sound issues when playing a song, switching CD’s or changing tracks. Since this is an ES player, it has all the features of a regular CD player plus more. One of which you can manually name and title each CD so that when a CD is played, the title is shown on the display. Being an ES model, CD’s load quickly, they fast- forward and rewind quickly. Another cool feature is the built in equaliser functionality that allows you to fine tune the sound of the audio. Sony ES CD players are a rare breed (especially the 5-disc version) due to their popularity and legendary status. Because of this they don’t come up for sale often.
