This auction is for a Sony Stereo System with a Sony turntable and owner's manuals for both the stereo and the turntable. There are 5 speakers with this system and it comes with a working remote (only needs a battery) and a supply of wire to hook it up. There is quite a bit more wire with the system than is showing in the photos.

Approximate Dimensions: L & R Front Speakers - height = 59cms, width & length 40cms x 28.5cms. Stereo - height = 41.5cms, width & length 41cms x 35.5cms.

We have owned this system from new and it has served us very well but with the need to downsize and combine households we must rehome it because we no longer have space for it.

The turntable works very well and has not had a lot of use. It plays 33 1/3 rpm / 45 rpm switchable. The stereo plays CDs very well and has a 5 CD change. The FM/AM radio works fine. The double tape deck in the stereo is not working and requires a repair to get it going again. There are 5 speakers which are left & right front & rear speakers and a centre front speaker. The left & right front speakers have indentations in the mesh covering on the speakers which may be able to be straightened out by someone who knows how to do it. In general the system is tidy and we have a smoke free and a pet free home.
