I've just serviced this unit ( see photo 10) and all works great now (note I could not test the iPOD dock because my iPOD sadly died recently but it plays the previous owner's iPOD fine). I've replaced the CD players's motor drive belt ( see photo 11) so now it's door open and closes as it should and it plays now 9/10 of my test CDs of various conditions...just the badly scratched one skips a bit on some tracks. Its rare to find one of there MIcro sets's that can still play CDs..most died after 5 to 8 years and its hard to find spares ....if at all :( ..so if you still listen to CD's then this is the one ..the rest is a BONUS !
