• I started my AUDIO hobby in the 70's and Technics, Marantz and Yamaha caught my attention ..however I bought mostly Technics gear..I always liked their looks but mostly their sound quality and reliability.
• I've retired 7 years ago to a small unit so I sold almost all my Audio collections, however I still keep an active interest in the entry level market for interesting things to restore them and to give them a 2nd chance in life again ! ..LIKE THIS ONE!!

*YOU WILL GET: a 1988 Technics SA-X900L BIG MIDI SET : AMP/ FM tuner + double tape decks + Phono in + AUX in + its perfect marching speakers. MADE IN JAPAN, Classic smooth clean Technics looks WITH solid warm full bodied sound. Cosmetically its an easy 9/10 almost looks like new..rare to find one of these in this great condition as most of them has been used by many as their GOTO work horses and party machines. I've JUST SERVICED this set (see before/after photos 15,16). Almost all works great now however I could not get DECK A to "PLAY" but its FF and REW works fine..Luckily all functions on DECK B works fine now so use that to PLAY your tapes. FM, PHONO in, AUX in, Headphone out all works great (only 1 ch on "CD in" works so use "AUX in" instead). The speakers are near new and sounds great.

• A "Technics" search on Trademe shows there are a few of these set listed some for parts at +_ $40 but if you want a fully working set I can recommend the one in Listing #5578775465 for only $240 :).
• NOTE as with ALL retro stuff a person must respect their age and it's IMPOSSIBLE for it to be new (but I am sure you know that :)) so this is sold without a warranty but I can demo it with pick up.
