Tap controls are assigned to each earbud. The left earbud controls volume, and the right earbud controls media playback. Call control takes over on the right earbud when a call comes in.
You can activate your voice assistant by pressing and holding the right earbud. This is helpful if you are not holding your phone.
Sony has a Headphones Connect app (iOS and Android), which is handy for adjusting settings and installing software updates.
