These quality Mirage MPS Bipole Surround Speakers pack a great punch for their diminutive size. Just 27cm high x 16cm wide x 12cm deep, but weigh around 3kg each.

Each speaker has 2 tweeters and 2 woofers, one of each on each side. They tweeter on one side is opposite the other sides woofer.

Solid construction with gloss piano black finish, detachable grills and quality binding posts. There's a small bit of blu-tack on one of the covers as per photos...it might brush out, I just haven't had a chance to try. But that side can be faced away in any case, so noone will notice.

Bipole surround speakers have two speakers that output sound from both sides of the cabinet. If used as side-surround speakers, the sound is output both toward the front and rear of the room. If used as rear-surround speakers, they output sound in both directions along the rear wall.

The dual speakers used in a bipole speaker are in phase, meaning that both speakers output sound simultaneously. Bipole speakers create a diffuse surround effect, so the location of the speaker cannot be pinpointed. Bipole speakers are a good choice for movies and music and are usually placed on the side walls.
