This is a 2021 model of the highly regarded Samsung Q990 soundbar, for some reason Samsung changed the name from Q950 to Q990 with the release of the 2022 model, the Q990B.

I've just purchased a Q990D off Trade Me that I didn't really need because I've been more than happy with the 950, but the 990 was a good price and it has HDMI 2.1 passthrough that I might use one day, and I like winning auctions, you know how it is....

I'll add that it's also great for music and gets surprisingly loud, the volume goes up to 100 and I rarely got it up near 30 in my little place
