Description
Under 3 years old. Everything from new is included. Box, manuals, remote (you will need your own AAA batteries x2), FM and AM antennas, YPAO calibration mic. Working perfectly, excellent condition.
Manual can be browsed directly online at Yamaha's site: https://manual.yamaha.com/av/20/rxv6a/en-US/
MusicCast App control Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Music Enhancer High Slew Rate Amplifier CINEMA DSP 3D 4K upscaling eARC Wifi or Ethernet allowing full control of the unit on a web browser Firmware updates online or USB
7 HDMI inputs. First 3 support HDMI2.1, meaning it can handle 4K/120hz or 8K/60 sources. You will need HDMI cables that support HDMI2.1 specs (the ones that come from factory with PS5 or Xbox Series X are fine, or other third party ones).
This is a TSR-700 but it's physically the same as an RX-V6A that costs over $1300 new (and internally mostly the same as the current model RX-A2A which costs $1500, these three units run on the same firmware).
Amazing AV receiver. Covers what most people would need in modern home theatre HDMI setups. You can tweak audio to suit your tastes with EQ or the DSP effects, or use the mic included for YPAO auto calibration.
It sounds great out of the box without any effects or EQ, but personally I find this amp sounds best when in "pure direct" mode which can be switched on instantly with one button on the remote. This skips all DSP circuitry to achieve a clear, defined sound.
I could use the factory box and wrap it with thick bubble wrap to ship it nationwide with NZ Post/Courier, but as it's heavy and big shipping will cost quite a lot. If the buyer wants to arrange their own shipping through other personal couriers that can come to my address and directly pick up, this is totally fine.
Pick up is in St Johns, near Meadowbank.
Selling as I'm back to an old school 2ch stereo setup.

Please note you will need your own step down trans that can output 100-120V for this. Seller comment Sunday, 11 May 2025 Hi, are you open to reasonable offers? I’m located in St. John’s so convenient to pick up. Cheers Vaughan v********1 (53 • 7:00 pm, Mon, 12 May )Sorry this is the lowest I can go now. I'm only listing as auctions started on Sunday have no success fees. If it doesn't sell I won't relist until the next time TM does this promotion which can be at least few months ahead. RX V series are rare on Trademe sec hand as they're still pretty new, costs high, and most owners are happy to keep them as it performs so well. It's great you're in St Johns so this is a rare opportunity. s14 (637 • Monday, 12 May 2025 )
