Description
This is a nifty little device to convert to clean up your digital source chain. It takes a USB input, and converts this to optical, coaxial or I2S.
I was using this mainly for its I2S output, but occasionally used it with coaxial connections. It definitely made a difference, especially when used with higher quality DACs and via I2S - more detail, and better dynamics. It's subtle, but once you used a DDC, you won't feed your DAC without one.
I used this with my SMSL RAW-DAC1 (which I am also selling), and it worked well for DSD input.
I2S is configurable, to match with different devices. It also takes an optional external clock as an input (have not tried this). It does not have a remote - turn on once, and forget about it.
This is unit is a 1-2 years old. Excellent condition, no damages, 100% functional. I am selling as my current DAC uses a LAN input, therefore I don't need a DDC anymore.
