With regrets, I am selling these Celestion SL600 speakers. They are the original version with the copper dome tweeter, which are the soul of Celestion. They are in very good condition for their age (launched in the 80s).

Why do you need to have them?

• Top-tier sound performance - very, very smooth. Especially on the vocals if you like Jazz. They have natural midrange, and the copper tweeter is so unique and addictive in producing instruments like guitars and strings.
• Super durability - Crafted from Aerolam aluminium-honeycomb sandwich—a material used in aircraft—for ultra-stiff, low-resonance cabinets. Without the boxy sound like the other wood cabniets, they are praised for its “disappearing act” and spacious soundstage.
• Well-regarded: Ranked in the Top 25 speakers of the last 40 years (Stereophile).

This listing also includes a pair of custom made cast iron speaker stands bought from Tokoroa Hifi shop back in the 80s. They are very heavy, and sounds superior to later newer stands I have. They are free for buyers should they want them.

The original binding posts (which in my opinion are the only short link in these speakers) have already been upgraded to WBT ones, these posts alone worth $200+, which makes these a great deal!
