Pioneer PL-520 Vintage Direct-Drive Fully-Automatic Turntable Made in Japan

Very rare and unique turntable from The Golden 1970s

Just been serviced and works perfectly fine with nice sound and strong speed. All potentiometers were re-lubed, and the Sansui cartridge with a brand-new stylus, has been cleaned and fully adjusted.

It's a rustic one with rust spots on the paint, the tonearm rest clip is broken and the cover lid has a crack at the back but all mentioned is only cosmetics and does not affect the functionality

These usually sell for $800-$1000 but I dropped the price because of cosmetic issues

The Pioneer PL-520 incorporates a high-precision phonomotor combining control circuitry composed of semiconductors with Hall elements in the brushless DC motor.

Another feature is the high inertia platter.

The speed of the platter is smooth since the Hall elements guarantee accurate position detection and the motors winding current is controlled by transistors.

Altogether, these attractive features make a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 72dB and a wow and flutter of less than 0.03%.

Comes with a copy of the owner's manual and a power cord
