Micro Seiki was a high end Japanese turntable manufacturer
Advanced features incorporated into their designs included such refinements as external thread/belt drive motor units, air bearings and vacuum hold down platters.
The BL-21 comes fitted with an AR tonearm and new AR cartridge/stylus. Overall condition is good, with the plinth looking very attractive in the Zebrano finish.
The dustcover is in good condition and does have the usual wear and tear after 40 years of service.
Most importantly, the sound quality is exceptional. It's clear, no hiss or other noises and a pleasure to listen to.
Just back from a service where they spindle was oiled, a Rifa cap replaced, speed control cleaned and new cartridge/stylus fitted. It was also setup correctly.
