Description
Up for grabs is a very nice Harman Kardon HK720 vintage turntable.
Constructed in Japan, during the golden age of HiFi – this beauty is very well constructed and still sounds amazing!
It features a reliable belt drive system and includes an inbuilt stroboscope and pitch-control dial for accurate speed adjustment
It has a Japanese-built Ito Microrace tonearm and like all good turntable features an adjustable counterweight and anti-skate device.
Quite rare for any turntable, the HK720 also includes capacitance adjustment, so you can match your cartridge.
One of the best features of this turntable is that it has an “auto – return” function, which if you’re lazy (like me), is a god send. When the needle reaches the end of the record, the tonearm will automatically lift, return to its stand and the machine will shut off. No more chance of ruining your stylus by forgetting to turn off the turntable!
The turntable is in excellent working order….with just a few scuffs on the dust cover. I’ve also added Rimu sidings to increase its vintage charm.
It comes with a copy of the user manual….and a very nice Ortofon FF10 XP cartridge / stylus, which means it’s all ready to play!
