Description
The Technics SL-230 is a vintage, fully automatic, belt-drive turntable released in 1978. It features 33 and 45 RPM speed options, a platter size selector for 7, 10, and 12-inch records, and a repeat function allowing for multiple plays of a record side. It also includes a start/stop button, cueing lever, anti-skate and tracking force adjustments, and a strobe for speed calibration.
Condition is a very respectable 8.5/10. Its 1 of the cleanest, best looked after examples I've come across.
The controls have been cleaned and a new belt fitted. Speed is rock solid and steady. There's a pitch control for both 33 and 45rpm. I've installed a brand new stylus, which will give years of good service.
The lid is in great condition, with no cracks or breaks especially around the hinge area.
