This stunning Pioneer PL-530 is a real classic! A great looking, great performing direct drive automatic, the PL-530 is one of the most beautiful turntables ever made IMO. Capable of satisfying a discriminating ear without issue. Very silent running, very low rumble, really brings out the best in fine records with a suitable cartridge partner. Built in 1976 or thereabouts, and lovingly serviced by my fantastic turntable tech. It has a great Audio Technica AT-102 cart, and a brand new AT stylus, which sounds fantastic.

This has a lift-on/lift-off lid as per the photos which has been beautifully polished.

The wood vinyl veneer is a little worn and fragile...but I like the stories it tells as is, and the veneer can easily enough be replaced in need. I actually have a roll of replacement veneer that I'll include with the sale if I can find it. I personally just enjoyed it as is.

Its recent service means its running beautifully. This included servicing the speed adjustment pots; resoldering cartridge leads; fitting an ADC cartridge; re-lubing everything; and generally making her sound as good as possible.
