Te Aro Zero Waste is a community recycling and resource recovery centre supporting local resilience and regeneration in central Wellington. A new partnership between the Wellington City Council and Sustainability Trust, Te Aro Zero Waste is based in the Sustainability Trust building on Forresters Lane. Te Aro Zero Waste is a welcoming space people can go to learn about waste minimisation and access recycling, repair and reuse services.

Most electronics such as TVs, mobile phones and computers, are made of materials that can harm people and the environment if not disposed of properly, so we encourage you to be a responsible kiwi and drop your e-waste off to us.

Our team separates out reusable components and items that can be repaired or are still in working order and sell them here on Trade Me and in our zero waste centre. All of our profits go back into running our centre.
