This is a second generation iPod, with Firewire. Not the spinning wheel, the first solid state wheel. Comes in original box, charger, firewire cable, & headphone remote.

The hard drive died a few years ago and I was going to swap with an SD card. But just got round to opening it then left it. I am not sure if the hard drive is still in there or not? Also I had upgraded the battery a while ago.

I can boot it when plugged in but get the sad folder icon.

I bought this when the version 3 came out. This was amazing at the time, 20 Gb was just crazy stuff. This baby made bus trips to the city so much fun. But it needs to go now, to a good home. Is that you?
