Description
Each LISTING is FOR a PAIR of GENUINE RTL-SDR Blog V3 USB SDR (Software Defined Radio) dongles. These are the dongles only, what you see in the photo is what you get.
These are used, but have been tested by me to verify they are in working condition.
These are GENUINE RTL-SDR v3 dongles that I have purchased direct from Carl (owner of RTL-SDR Blog at rtl-sdr.com). I have included a photo of the antenna connector end of the dongles, if you check Carl’s website it shows that fake dongles usually have different screws on the antenna end. See Carl’s website at https://www.rtl-sdr.com/rtl-sdr-quick-start-guide/
In later production runs of the RTL-SDR Blog v3 dongles the dongles were black, these solver dongles are from earlier production runs of the genuine v3 dongles.
Features of these dongles include (information from RTL-SDR.com):
- Frequency range 24 - 1766MHz and 500kHz - 28.8MHz HF using direct sampling
- 8 bit resolution ADC
- Ability to receive all signals from up to a 2.56MHz frequency range at once, some reports claim that they can sample 3.2MHz at once (but that may not be reliable/stable)
- Better than 1ppm TCXO stability
- 4.5b USB powered Bias Tee - the dongle cal send 4.5DC up the antenna cable to power devices such as amplifiers
- Multiple improvements compared to other RTL-SDRs
As part of my after-sales service I'm happy to answer any questions you have and help you choose & install the software you need to accomplish whatever you want to do with these. :) I've used these with Windows & Linux (incl Raspberry Pi) and I've used many different SDR programs, so am happy to help you out.
I recommend reading Carl's website at rtl-sdr.com as it is, in my opinion, the best SDR website on the Internet. His about page gives a great introduction to these dongles and lists some of the ways you can use them: https://www.rtl-sdr.com/about-rtl-sdr/

How much for all 4 of them ? r******8 (465 • 7:07 pm, Sat, 3 May )Well, each pair is $39 and the $12 or $16 shipping cost would be charged only once. So that would be either $90 or $94 depending on whether the destination address was rural or not. ak_ham (132 • Saturday, 3 May 2025 )Definitely no pickup? d******n (303 • 9:44 am, Sun, 4 May )That is what the listing says. ak_ham (132 • Sunday, 4 May 2025 )Hi, I'm still keen but not keen to pay $16 extra when I'm local as that pushes the price closer to buying new V3&4's from the official supplier in Auckland at not much more. Quite happy to meet at a supermarket carpark, work area etc if that is helpful. d******n (303 • 12:31 am, Wed, 7 May )Then I suggest you purchase new items from Carl. Please don't waste my time by repeatedly asking questions that are clearly covered in the listing. The listing is not written that way by accident. ak_ham (132 • Wednesday, 7 May 2025 )"Ask question" is for asking questions about a listing, not for abusing or harassing people. If your "question" is to claim that you can get a better deal elsewhere, then that's not a question about the listing and there is an obvious response from the seller. And if you claim that purchasing two from Carl for about NZD$113 is "not much more" than buying two from me at NZD$39+shipping then you sound like you are pretty confused. Kindly avoid that behaviour, otherwise I will report to TradeMe. Seller comment Wednesday, 7 May 2025
