Description
Clearing out under the bench as part of downsizing and dug this out. It’s been sitting there for at least 30years. I got it for a project that didn’t happen. I don’t think I’ve ever turned it on so electrical condition unknown but physically in good condition. If you wanted to measure a radio frequency in the 1950’/60’s you probably used one of these. This one was used in the Post Office Radio Depot in Wellington. They replaced the Army WW2 BC221 and similar Navy LM14 Frequency Meters for measuring radio frequencies. The Motorola unit is very substantially built with a very rigid cast chassis. This made it very stable once warmed up. Comes with original operators and maintenance manual.
