This is a unit we bought as a pair with another, it's ex-Navy and seems to work ok although we haven't done much with it. It's a combo set of Model 8496B and 8494B, fitted to stand as pictured and with N-type connectors.

The 8496B covers the range 110dB - 0dB and Freq Range DC-18GHz in 10dB steps and the 8494B covers the range 11dB - 0dB and Freq Range DC-18GHz in 1dB steps.

We're not in a position to test it thoroughly, can only comment on the parameters we tested at. We checked the signal on a 100MHz 'scope and it was solid right through the range down to -60dbm which was as far as the 'scope would detect. We tested it on a Boonton power meter at frequencies up to 3Ghz and the 10dbm steps were always pretty close albeit with some tiny fluctuations (could only test down to -60dbm there.)

The knob on the 8496B has a little softness when changing steps but still clicks into place pretty firm, the 8494B is crisper there. Condition is clean.

We'll warranty according to our description and will take it back if there's anything catastrophically wrong, but please note it is not sold as a calibrated unit and buyer should not expect such.
