Description
I have had this teleprompter for quite a number of years. We don't have a broadcast camera any more so the prompter and mounts are now surplus. The prompter has a large 26 x 18cm high quality glass and a lcd monitor built in to the mount. The monitor has a long 10m leads and its own mains psu. The video signal is fed to the monitor via a 10m RCA lead. We used a laptop with teleprompter software to feed the monitor. The system could be simply modified to replace the lcd monitor with a tablet if required. The system comes with a professional mounting system and a Sony quick release mounting plate. (These plates alone sell second hand for an average of $90). The whole system mounts on a broadcast tripod ( we don't have one of these any more either!).
In the photos you can see one photo with a dslr being used. If you use a different mount to the Sony plate then you can use your own camera. The blackout cloth has a drawstring to accomodate a wide range of lenses.
All in working order.

Will this work on the phone/tablet t*********a (359 • 5:55 pm, Mon, 19 May )You could modify it. If you removed the existing LCD screen a ipad size tablet would probably fit. If you wanted to use a phone then you might be able to modify it with a bit of ingenuity. Hope that helps. surfdale (428 • Monday, 19 May 2025 )Whats the brand mate? p*****p (1 • 12:20 pm, Tue, 20 May )Havent a clue, sorry! surfdale (428 • Tuesday, 20 May 2025 )
