Description

Found these just had to get one to see if it was worth it. So, what I have here is the XC9064 https://www.jaycar.co.nz/10-inch-screen-raspberry-pi-retro-arcade-game-console/p/XC9064 to which first, I've added the expected Raspberry Pi 4 (8GB) with standard heatsinks anda kiwi job on the fan (remarkably quiet & efficient). Raspberry Pi for the vast user-base & excellent support.

So, the cool things I added are; converted the joystick & buttons from GPIO to USB . . . https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketplace/gaming/arcade-pinball-machines/parts/listing/5416517784 All you need to know is the joystick doesn't need extra software to work & should be plug 'n' play for any O.S. you choose to run . . . which brings me to the second cool thing (I think) I added -

https://core-electronics.com.au/round-panel-mount-micro-sd-card-extender-adafruit.html the original design has the µSD slot unreachable, you're meant to 'muck-around' with a raspberry pi, so . . . of course, if you want to use the Raspberry Pi as a computer you may want to plugin a keyboard & mouse (NOT included) any standard USB keyboard & mouse should work. Raspberry Pi O.S. installation instructions are really easy to find, I do recommend not overwriting the included µSD

Speaking of which, the included 64GB µSD card. Has an installed games system, Recalbox. Chosen for ease of use, particularly the menus as they are all graphical & work very well, 'specially the key entry IMHO. Particularly capable at emulation & popular enough & well maintained enough that should you need help it should be easy to find online. ADDing ROMS (games) is easy & I will provide helpful information via email after the auction has been won.

Note, ONLY the Raspberry Pi is not brand new. Note, there are some small chips in the acrylic under the buttons, these came pre-assembled so, bugger, these have been taken into account when deciding on the price (& are barely visible in practical use)

if you have any questions please ask.
