Old stand up Taito gaming arcade unit, has had a PC screen installed with 4 games - Galaga, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong and Pac Man. I have added the checker plate, some screwed and some double sided tape for cosmetic purposes. The double sided taped pieces need re-fixing, these are the ones on the base and at the top. The unit itself (Taito) appears to be original as the graphics aren't stickers. I did have the base/footing replaced as the original chipboard base had deteriorated. There is dust under the glass top that I haven't addressed as I don't have the time to pull this apart. When googling Taito Phoenix (as per the Phoenix on the front top of the unit) it says it was circa 1980. It did have the coin mechanism entry at the front as was I would think originally in a gaming hall/cafe etc. There are marks and scratches to be expected with a unit of this age. If you are fussy, this may not be the unit for you. I have tried to describe to the best of my ability, you are welcome to view/play, or have a representative of yourself do it. I had this in my man cave that I am dismantling due to moving to a smaller house - I will also be listing a Terminator 2 pinball machine at some stage soon. Please feel free to ask questions. I would prefer pick up as I don't have the necessary packaging/protection to wrap it so haven't included freight costs.
