Description
Ever want to really fly IFR or dial up radio freqs without using a mouse? There is nothing like tactile controls and dedicated displays.
I am selling the following as a bundle:
- RealSimGear G1000 Suite (PDF, MDF, GMA Audio and stand)
- Honeycomb Flight Simulator Yoke
- Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant
- Logitech Flight Rudder Pedals
To buy this gear new would be over $5000.
All are in really good condition, but I need to point out two things with one of the G1000 units (see close up picture of PFD [left unit]). The first is that there is slight damage to the black coating adjacent to CRS-BARO dial that lets light through. It looks like a crack but is superficial. The second is that the LED behind the third button from the left at the bottom of the unit has failed (probably a dry solder) and so this particular button is not illuminated. These were there when I received the unit from RealSimGear but it wasn’t worth the hassle of trying to get a replacement from the US (during Covid lockdowns…). Neither of these affect the performance of the unit.
I have been using with Microsoft Flight Simulator and RealSimGear also support this with XPlane on Windows. The PDF and MDF are basically HDMI screens and the buttons/encoders on each unit present as a USB device which is monitored by a software plug-in provided RealSimGear. All the G1000 processing is provided by the Flight Sim.
I have provided a couple of photos but I refer you to manufacturers' websites for details: https://realsimgear.com/collections/gps-units/products/realsimgear-g1000-suite-for-x-plane-p3d-and-fsx https://www.flyhoneycomb.co.nz/collections/honeycomb-flight-sim-hardware/products/alpha-flight-controls https://www.flyhoneycomb.co.nz/collections/honeycomb-flight-sim-hardware/products/bravo-throttle-quadrant https://www.logitechg.com/en-nz/products/flight/flight-simulator-rudder-pedals.html
Will courier in four boxes at your cost.

Would you be willing to sell one of the G1000 units separately? k*************z (130 • 3:20 pm, Fri, 9 May )Hi. No, at this stage I am hoping to sell the entire bundle. peter_n (22 • Friday, 9 May 2025 )Hi so the rsg software comes with the unit. Is it paid subscription for the software and can it be transfered to a new owner. Are they still giving free software updates. What size are the touchscreens Cheers c*******s (401 • 11:58 am, Mon, 12 May )RSG provide their software free of charge. The current version can be found here: https://help.realsimgear.com/en/articles/7971505-downloads-for-microsoft-flight-simulator-2020-and-2024. Note that you will need to buy the flight simulator software such as Microsoft Flight Simulator or X-Plane. The screens are 260mm (measured diagonally) and they are not touch screens. Rather they are surrounded by physical buttons - same as the real G1000 units. peter_n (22 • Monday, 12 May 2025 )Looking to buy my first setup. Are you running this with a projector? e*****a (251 • 6:02 pm, Wed, 14 May )Hi, I was lucky to have a spare 55" TV which I used as my main monitor. One thing to consider is that with the G1000 units and dedicated radio controller, the main display only needs to show the view through the windshield of the aircraft, and you don't need to zoom out to include the interior of the cockpit. In other words, you will get a more realistic experience regardless of what you choose for your main display. peter_n (22 • Wednesday, 14 May 2025 )
