Professor Layton and Luke attend the unveiling of a time machine, but it explodes and the Prime Minister goes missing, causing chaos in London. They receive a letter from Luke's future self warning of trouble, leading them on a new adventure. Players explore scenes, solve puzzles, and find hidden secrets using the stylus. New to this installment is the 'Super Hint' option and three new minigames. In the Picture Book game, players create a story with stickers, in the Toy Car game, they navigate a toy car around a board, and in the Parrot game, they help a parrot deliver parcels.
