It allows players to drive through cities created in SimCity 2000. The game features racing and vehicular combat elements. It includes a network mode for multiplayer deathmatches with up to seven players. Players can engage in activities such as delivering packages and battling enemy vehicles. A scenario editor enables the creation of custom races using SimCity 2000 cities. The game was the last Maxis release before being acquired by Electronic Arts.
