I have used this setup to play heaps of my old school PS2 games straight off the hard drive! It’s a much more enjoyable experience than having to wait for game discs to load up or even more annoying… skipping or lagging discs due to age, scratches, etc.. The DVD drive is old and only occasionally works. (not that you ever need it) You also don't need a memory card and you can create Virtual Memory cards with near unlimited capacity!
