Description
"Pier Solar and the Great Architects", was a recent (relatively speaking) game for the Sega MegaDrive and Genesis released in 2010. But if you're here you probably already know that - but here's some background anyway..
Pier Solar is a story-based RPG about the journey of three young heroes from the town of Reja. In this prospered and peaceful town there live three best friends: Hoston, Alina and Edessot. Young and curious, they want to go on a herb-seeking quest to help cure Hoston's father's illness. Little do they know ... it will be the beginning of their lifetime journey where they will learn the true meaning of friendship and the thrill of adventure. This journey will demand their courage and wisdom to solve a long-lost mystery while they face the forces of destruction dispatched by an evil man who is trying to change the world for his own good. Through this escapade, they will be reborn as great heroes to protect the universe from a mistaken purpose.
Pier Solar uses a cartridge with 64 megabits of memory, making it technically the "biggest" game cartridge that the system can support. It also will use the improved sound hardware of a Mega-CD at the same time if one is connected.
All versions of the game are not region locked. At the time I just like the Genesis packaging better.
This is an auction for my still sealed copy of the Sega Megadrive/Genesis "Classic" (the original version that came with the Enhanced Soundtrack Disc) game "Pier Solar and the Great Architects". There were not many of these produced (about 800).
I wasn't collecting this or anything, I just never got around to opening it.
Oddly, the clear plastic pack that the game is sealed in has a brown tinge to it at the bottom of the packaging (see photos). I think it might be UV damage from the sun, but it only affects the packaging not the game itself.
Any questions let me know.
