The 1.61 index lenses or Super High-index (Thinner) lenses are good for those with higher prescriptions, the lenses are thinner and lighter than the 1.56 index

The 1.61 is excellent for the following prescriptions: Sph:- -4.00 to -10.00 Cyl:- Up to -2.00 Cyl:- -2.25 to -4.00 (add $15) Axis:- 0 to 180
