English hallmarks are visible on the handle, the lion Passant (Circa 1820's), and London Town mark (Circa 1821) identifying the pommel crafted in 925 Sterling Silver, Made in London, Circa 1821

785mm long 16mm diameter of cane tip 24mm diameter at the entrance of the handle 42mm diameter of handle 300 grams
Purchased long ago as African Blackwood (at the time of harvest the wood was required to be 150+ years mature) the general effect is dark purplish-brown with predominate black streaks. The grain is straight with even texture and a low lustre which is slightly oily
This cane is in excellent condition featuring an original tip and replaceable protective rubber cap
Excellent condition all-round with no restoration and minimal wear
