Bought this (showroom set) about 10 years ago. Not sure what kind of wood it is...but it is heavy and will require 2 people to collect.
** Queen size slat bed. I never bothered attaching slats to frame, so you'll need to do that yourself if you feel the need to do that. Never been an issue for me to have them loose.
** 8-drawer lowboy with mirror. Has some marks on it and usual wear and tear. All drawers slide well.
** 5-drawer tallboy. All drawers slide well
** 2 x bedside tables (2-drawers each). Some stains.
The furniture is heavy - 2 people required for pick up.
