Description
A French Empire early 19th Century Mahogany daybed. The rectangular head and foot-board is mounted by a column top rail with down swept sides. The columns are decorated with ormolu plinth and capitals. I purchased this at Webbs antique auctions but it is too tall for the spot I had in mind. The lady selling the bed paid $16000 for it many years ago.
Size is H1100 W1910 D1150mm
It has the matress /bedding etc that originally came with it as well.
