Independent audits ensure that the highest standards are met for this "living" probiotic tea (and believe me they are stringent - I have to worry about that as I am selling to the public - but as a Home Brewer - ie. NOT selling - you don't but we still want to ensure your safety). My SCOBY's are grown specifically for sale in organic green, black and fruit tea mixes, They are NOT cast offs from kombucha making. They are fresh and juicy and come with a batch of the brew they were grown in, so you can "hit the ground running. No waiting around for the SCOBY to rehydrate or acclimatise.
