Heinz EZ Squirt ketchup was launched in the year 2000 as a colorful, non-red ketchup line, starting with "Blastin' Green" in conjunction with the Shrek movie, and was sold until 2006. The "EZ Squirt" name refers to the slender nozzle on the plastic bottle, which allowed for more precise pouring and was a departure from Heinz's traditional glass bottles.
