There has never been a way to make an old woodburner burn better. Since I love designing efficient things I started to work on the problem. My old woodburner couldn't even warm the room properly, and belched out smoke almost constantly. Smoke is wasted heat and I wanted that heat in my home.

What I ended up with has been described by customers as astounding and transforming, that it sounds like a rocket, and the extra heat is unbelievable.

It was so good I decided to make a retrofit to fit all woodburners.

An early version was tested by a laboratory and they measured how astounding it really was, a lift from 52% efficiency to 75%.

On the back of that result I was selected as a finalist in an International Woodburner contest. This "Woodstove Decathlon" was covered by NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, and they wrote about the IntensiFire there and in POPULAR MECHANICS.

A US Government Laboratory did the testing at the contest and they said it put out less emissions than any woodburner they have ever seen.

They also measured efficiency at 83%. That means an IntensiFire in your old woodburner is cleaner and more efficient than anything you can buy new.

One real bonus is that you can burn wet wood. The laboratory tests can’t even measure that sort of performance yet. One customer said I should call it "The Incinerator" because he burnt his green garden waste in it.

If you are looking for parts to refurbish your old model, don’t worry about that as the IntensiFire doesn’t needs bricks or a baffle.
